I need your help

A dear friend clued me in to a new baking challenge.  This one has a holiday theme and should be a "holiday appetizer, dessert (i.e. cookies, cakes, pies, bars), or bread (i.e. muffins, quick breads, pastries)."
It utilizes a baking mix, so this means it'll be a really quick and easy recipe for you this holiday season.

So, here's what I need from you...

What is your favorite holiday treat?  Appetizer?

What would you miss the most, if you couldn't have gluten (wheat)?  Or what do you miss the most during the holidays?

I'll do my best to come up with a recipe and I'll be happy to share it with you.

If I am a finalist, I'll be coming back to ask for your votes.  But, either way it's a win/win because I'll post some new recipes for you that are easy to throw together this holiday season.

  1. Cinnamon rolls are always a hit here.

  2. Sandi, for me it's my Grandma's Cranberry Orange bread. She made every Thanksgiving and Christmas and I love it. I still have the recipe she wrote out for me on a torn piece of green paper. It has so many grease stains on it now because I've had it and used it probably since 1987 or so. I would really miss making this if we had to eliminate gluten.

  3. I would miss stuffing or dressing the most, then yeast rolls after that. Or garlic cheddar cheese biscuits.
